Our Mach1 Mustang for May 2008 is
Larry Warcup's 2003 Mach1
I purchased this car at Brown Bros. Ford in Vancouver. It had already been modified by the first owner. The vehicle at purchase had 20,000 kms on it. 4.10's, Basanni X-pipes, FR500 18" wheels, Yokohama rubber, Steeda Suspension & C/C plates. All modifications were completed by Brown Bros. Performance.
This past Summer I added a Kenne Bell 2.1 Intercooled Supercharger, had it dyno-tuned (440 rwhp/400tq @ 7psi boost), added an MGW shifter, raptor shift light (mounted in the Air Conditioning vent), some AutoMeter guages (boost/fuel mounted in the stock guage cluster).
I drag-raced it at the local track (Mission Raceway Park...first time out 13.100 @ 111.67 MPH!). AWESOME! Now I'm hooked!
Next Spring, Mickey Thompson ET Streets, Weld wheels, frame supports and a drive-shaft loop, my own helmet ( I borrowed one last time) and a 5-point harness...all for safety!
I'm expecting to get in to the high 11's...I'll keep ya all posted!
It's now covered and locked up in my heated garage for the Winter...until a nice, crisp sunny day comes up.
